This server was founded by good people that were sick and tired of
networks that didn't care about the users. To help make your and everyone elses' lives here more fun/enjoyable, we ask
you follow the following guide-lines:

What follows is a standard set of guidelines which are enforced by most user-created chat
rooms on the InfinityChat.Net's service. Please note, by entering ANY room on the
InfinityChat.Net service you also agree to abide
by the rules set forth by the room's founder. Such rules, may be different from the ones
listed below. Should you find the experience unpleasant, please try another room.
Please do not use profanity or sexually explicit language in the chat rooms.
Please do not fight or engage in personal attacks.
Please do not use racial, ethnic, sexual, or religious slurs.
Please do not create a Nickname with any profanity, sexually explicit language, sexual innuendo, or racial, ethnic, or religious slurs. Many nicknames of that nature are already prohibited. Users agree not to resell or make any commercial use of the Service, without the expressed consent of InfinityChat.Net.
Please avoid excessive shouting (use of all caps) or flooding (continuous posting of repetitive text) in the Chat areas.
Impersonation of InfinityChat.Net IRCops or staff members is prohibited. False representation of yourself as a InfinityChat.Net employee or IRCop can result in immediate termination of your access to the service.
Any user who posts Web links or URLs in the lobby or official InfinityChat.Net chat room that point to content deemed inappropriate by the InfinityChat.Net staff will have their chat privileges revoked.
IRCops are unable to monitor user's private conversations, so you are empowered to use the ignore feature made available by both the server and your chat client in order to prevent a disruptive user from messaging you.
InfinityChat.Net enforces the following rules on the IRC network, and must stress the fact that the service should be kept clean for other users, and breaching these conditions may result in a g-line from the service:
Two connections per IP address/user.
No flooding, nuking, distributing illegal material, IP spoofing (including gates) are permitted on the service.
Channels based around child pornography, or bestiality, or contain inappropriate language will be closed.
Channel topics should not contain inappropriate language, or references to sexual content or illegal substances.

Attacks/Virii (Viruses) that deny service, hurt, impair, or otherwise cause
damage to this network, or the users of it are illegal via the Title 18,
U.S.C. Part 1, Chapter 47, Section 1030. They are also illegal via the
Canadian Criminal Code s. 342.2. For information on laws concerning DoS
attacks, and other computer crimes, in other countries, please contact local
law enforcement. Infinitychat.net will cooperate fully with any ISP, proven
law enforcement
entity, or court order to aid in the apprehension of persons who violate the
applicable laws.
